bentleyywilkesx started following you
“Hello, Ben!” She smiled as she came face to face with her best friend. “—- Soo, I’m here to steal you away,” She explained as she reached over and wrapped slender fingers around the blonde’s arm. Of course Lorina wouldn’t simply drag Bentley out of the house and away into civilisation, but she was too happy to be calm right now. It had been forever since she had seen her! “—- Zachary finally got home and he’s spending quality time with Adam so I thought I’d come see if you want to catch a movie or go for lunch?”
"Oh my, please tell me I’m not dreaming
"Awesome. Where is the little munchkin? I want to test-drive the new children’s novel I’m writing on her." Despite the fact that Alaska had no family, no nieces or nephews to take care of, Bentley and Charlie felt like family. She enjoyed spoiling the little girl, too, as if her mother didn’t already. Alaska found that though she was wary about whether she had a maternal instinct or not, being an honorary aunt was much easier.
"Consultation? Is that code for the cute professor guy finally asking you out on a date?” Alaska smiled, the grin across her lips Cheshire-cat worthy. “I heard you say yes. When is it? Do you have a dress?” Thankfully Bentley was rather used to Alaska’s journalist-mode by now. Hopefully Bentley wouldn’t deny Alaska that espresso, despite the fact that it seemed like she had enough energy to go on.
When taking care of Charlie, though, Alaska needed all the energy she could get.
"She’s spending the day with her grandparents." She explained with a grin, folding her arms as she listened to her friend’s interesting story. "Yeah? I’m sure she’d love that." Bentley loved leaving her daughter with Alaska whenever she’s busy or away for the day. And she could tell that her daughter felt the same about her friend.
"Uh, no?" A blush crept across her cheek. "I mean, he didn’t call me after that day so I don’t think he’s interested in me…" Bentley mumbled with a frown.
Sandy smiled sadly and scooted closer putting his arm around her “Kiss me.”
She wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in, pressing her mouth against his. At first they didn’t move, just let their lips rest against each other.
"Aw Benny." he kissed her forehead "I love you too."
She wrapped her arms around his waist as she relaxed into his embrace. “How about we go out with the kids today?”
I’ll try to reply to everything before my vacation starts on thursday- so sorry again for delaying everything.
She quickly hugged him and mumbled. “I love you.”
His heart nearly shattered. Her unconditional love touched him so much that he was crying but smiled just a little. “Benny… oh sweet Benny. I could never do anything like that to you. I love you.” he whispered “I want to tell you because I love you. You know me better than anyone in the world and this is just, it’s one thing I’ve never told anyone but I want you to know.” he explained and wiped his face then squeezed her knee “It was bad, I was… I’m confident now in who I am, but there were moments, when my father, school, kids around me, it all got to me. One night we’d been at the dinner table. One of the rare nights my father was home. I’d misjudged it. I thought, I thought he was going to be in a mood like he was during Christmas or holidays… he wasn’t. I mentioned going to take a dancing class. He made everyone leave the table. Made me stay. For four hours, he berated me, cut me down, slapped me for crying… then sent me to my room. He then went to yell at my mom because I was a ‘pussy ass gay boy’ and it must have been her fault.” he was crying again but his voice stayed strong as he told his story. “I went into the bathroom, and I just thought… how much better my mother’s life would be if I was gone… I felt so worthless, so low… That, I took all the prescription drugs I could find there. It was so slow… I held it all down and passed out. I woke up in my mother’s arms. He’d left… and she took me to the ER, they pumped my stomach and saved me… I just remember, the worry on her face. I’d never seen it before. We didn’t really talk about anything. Just kinda agreed not to tell anyone. Ellie doesn’t even know. No one did.”
Her finger brushed against his lips as he talked, waiting until it was her turn to speak. “
